The TRAMP-C2 cell line was derived in 1996 from a heterogeneous 32 week primary tumor in the prostate of a PB-Tag C57BL/6 (TRAMP) mouse.

AddexBio-formulated DMEM (C0003-01) + 5% FBS + 5% Nu-Serum IV + 0.005 mg/mL bovine insulin + 10 nM dehydroisoandrosterone
Subculture sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) at 1:6 to1:10 ratio, using 0.25% (w/v) Trypsin- 0.53 mM EDTA solution. An inoculum of 6x10^3 to 8x10^3 viable cells/cm2 is recommended. Culture at 5% CO2, 37°C.
Complete growth culture medium supplemented with 7.5% (v/v) DMSO II (Cells contain SV40 viral DNA sequences)
