Disease:
Adenosquamous carcinoma
Origin:
The H596 cell line was derived in 1983 from a tumor mass in the chest wall of a patient with adenosquamous carcinoma of the lung. The specimen was obtained prior to therapy.
Species:
Homo sapiens, human

AddexBio-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium(C0004-01) + 10% FBS
Remove medium, and rinse with 0.25% trypsin, 0.53 mM EDTA solution. Remove the solution and add an additional 1 to 2 mL of trypsin-EDTA solution. Allow the flask to sit at room temperature (or at 37°C) until the cells detach. Add fresh culture medium, aspirate and dispense into new culture flasks. Culture at 5% CO2, 37°C. A subcultivation ratio of 1:4 to 1:8 is recommended. Renew medium once every 2 to 3 days depending on cell density.
