NF-κB signaling (NF-kB, NF-kappaB Assay)

The NF-κB Reporter assay is designed to monitor the activity of NF-κB-regulated signal transduction pathways in cultured cells. The nuclear factor-κB plays a key role in inflammation, immune response, cell proliferation and protection against apoptosis. The NF-κB-responsive luciferase construct encodes the firefly luciferase reporter gene under the control of a promoter of the NF-κB transcriptional response element (TRE).
